GreenTek is AWESOME! From the beginning with my sales/estimator, Chris Ahlquist to the project Forman, Jacob and the Crew Lead, Maria the process flowed extremely smooth. Communication was spot on and as well as the total installation of my new roof. The crew was punctual, efficient and very skilled. They were respectful of the property and did a thorough post project cleanup. The bottom line is I could not be happier with my choice to use GreenTek and I would definitely recommend then to my family, friends and neighbors... GreenTek ROCKS!

After extensive damage to our roof from 2 back to back hurricanes we were inundated with roofing quotes and contractors. The difference with Greentek and the reason we ultimately chose them was twofold. Their pricing was fair and competitive. However their communication via phone and email was exemplary. No other company we dealt with was as thorough (without being pushy) and detailed. Their response times to any questions was always almost immediate. We are really pleased with the work they did and equally as important their customer service was superb. Thank you for making us feel like a valued customer.

We were pleased with all aspects of our experience with Greentek Roofing. The sales rep was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions about roofing, the office staff was responsive and organized and the installers were phenomenal! With a hurricane approaching, a team of about 10 workers removed our old roof, replaced multiple pieces of decayed plywood, installed the entire new roof (nearly 3000 square feet) AND replaced the flat roof over our lanai in only one day! We are beyond pleased and highly recommend Greentek Roofing to anyone in need of a new roof. A job very well done!

Where do I start?! This company has been great from the first call to finishing up with all the final paperwork!!! Anyone I spoke to on the phone or in person was extremely professional and knowledgable!!<br /> All options and concerns were addressed before, during, and after the roof was replaced! Everyone that knocked on my door explained why they were there, left information that was needed and followed up.<br /> The day of replacement came very early so be ready!!! The crew was fast!!! Arrived by 730am and done before 12pm! Granted it was a small 13 square roof but still! My house was a total roof replacement with wood damage to be prepared for extra costs if you have wood damage. I knew I did and stated that on day 1!!! I was spotted 3 sheets of plywood which helped in the overall additional costs! What I didn’t know until roof was removed was the extent of the wood damage. Approximately 40 feet of 2x4 and fascia had to be replaced. This replacement was explained and shown with pictures before and after. Plywood was expected but not the other wood!! So expect some additional costs for the wood, it happens!! Clean up the day of was great, no nails, staples, or debris was left. These guys had a big magnet on wheels just the be sure!!! The dumpster was picked up first thing the next morning!!<br /> Only complaint, besides paying the final bill, would be a roof removal process which prevented debris from falling in vents (kitchen exhaust, fart fans, etc) this was addressed on the final inspection with the crew manager. It was minor to me and easily corrected and addressed.<br /> This company met and exceeded ALL of my expectations especially after calling 3 other companies and those “my buddy is a roofer” recommendations!!! I would highly recommend this company to anyone needed your roof replaced!!<br /> <br /> David Fogg<br /> Thonotosassa, FL<br /> <br /> September 9, 2024 - This is an edit from my original review and mainly focuses on the debris falling into the various vents mentioned above.<br /> Due to other large unexpected expenses kitchen renovations had to be postponed. Those renovations (mainly appliances) happened the first week of September 2024. One of the appliances replaces was the kitchen range hood. When the hood was removed the duct work inside the wall fell completely out of the wall as it was not attached to the new roof vent that was installed April 2023.<br /> <br /> So I called, twice, for recommendations mainly about the proper vent type and how this may or may not affect the warranty of the roof. First return call was " We don't do duct work you need to contact someone else." While I understood this from the start my main concern was the roof warranty, the type of vent or vents (more on that to come) needed and the proper way to remove the shingles with the least amount of damage. Still waiting on that call back by the way.<br /> Ended up doing the work yesterday September 8, 2024. I will say the quality in which the roof and the incorrect vent hood were placed was awesome!!! I hated to have to pull everything apart but this was a safety concern for me. Proper vent hood was replaced and the kitchen is finally done. I ensured that the new vent hood worked and checked for the bathroom vent fans as well while I was on the roof. Not surprising I could not find those roof vents either.<br /> So here ya go. Would I recommend GreenTek again if asked? Yes but with reservations. My reservations are (1) The missing or improper vents that were replaced and not reconnected - the originals had no issues until the roof was replaced; (2) Test all vent fans prior to signing off/paying off anything as '"The 10 year workmanship warranty" is not honored; and finally (3) If there are ANY shingles left make sure that a few extras are left just in case you need them in the future.<br /> Pictures are provided. The photo of the roof with the circles is for reference where the bathroom fans should be and the one I replaced, the hole in the roof was may 2 inches smaller than 7 inch diameter needed, and with no extra shingles I had no other choice but to cover in the black tar.<br /> <br /> Hope this helps

Let me tell you why this company is 5-stars (aside from the fact that they offer free quotes and roof inspections). As a female, first-time homeowner, I have been taken advantage SO MANY times. It's extremely frustrating having to get several quotes for any kind of home project and then feeling uneasy wondering if the company is being fair or not. I called GreenTek because they were recommended and I had an exceptional experience. From the very first moment I made the call to them coming out to inspect my roof- it was so easy and stress-free. Evan performed my roof inspection, and he was so friendly and thorough about explaining issues, causes, and then sat with me and let me know all of my options. I met the owner himself, John Franco- these are incredible people who love helping out their community. Thank you all so much for taking care of me and my stresses!

Update: Your response proves my point. If the condition of my roof was such a concern, why was I given a $3,000 quote in the first place? Instead of being upfront about your hesitations before making me wait weeks for a contract that never arrived, you wasted my time.<br /> <br /> You claim you have the right to refuse work, and of course, that’s true. But a professional company would have made that decision before leading a customer to believe the job would move forward. Instead, I had to follow up myself just to be told you “didn’t feel comfortable” taking it on.<br /> <br /> If you don’t handle tiled roofs, be honest from the start. If you do, then stand by your quotes. Either way, your lack of professionalism speaks for itself and I appreciate your response so people can see your lack of professionalism themselves.<br /> <br /> Original Post: I was originally quoted $3,000 to repair my tiled roof and was told to expect an email with a contract to proceed. Weeks went by with no email, so I followed up—only to be told by Samantha that they "don’t feel comfortable working on tiled roofs."<br /> <br /> Let me get this straight: A roofing company that isn’t comfortable working on roofs? Either they were lying to get out of a small job, or they truly aren’t capable of handling tiled roofs. Either way, it’s a huge red flag. If you’re considering this company, proceed with caution—you might get strung along and dropped just like I was.
